Chemistry is EVERYTHING!  We love our clients so much but a big reason for that is because they love us back! More specifically, they like our shooting style & our editing style!  Of course there are good ways to find out if we’re a great match. (We know, we know! ..you finally found your literal perfect match in your fiancee & now you have to stress about finding ANOTHER one in the world of wedding vendors!)  BUT ! don’t stress, its simple enough to have a chill FaceTime or even meet for coffee & chat. It’s ALL worth it in the end. Especially when it applies to one of the most memorable days of your life!

Below are some things you should know about us.

We don’t TOTALLY pose.

Our shooting style is VERY organic & playfully candid to amplify the emotion (both happy & sad) on a wedding day. The less posed, the better. We do however give helpful anchors during Wedding party, Family formals & Wedding Couple frames to get the atmosphere going.

That Old Timey Feel.

Our editing style is quite filmy & exposed in a much more moody atmosphere. The colours are rich, especially deep reds, greens, & vintage yellows. Our blogs & reels can give you a great idea of what that looks like. We really steer clear of the “light & airy” UNLESS an ethereal lens flare comes into play.

We tell REALLY bad jokes. Bare with us. It’s ALL worth it in the end & the worse the joke, the better the laugh, ironically.

How Long have you been Photographing Weddings for?

We have had the pleasure of capturing weddings as a team all over the world for more than 10 years! We hope to continue to do so for years & years to come!
(& even years after that!) (Seriously. We LOVE this job)

How do We Book You?

Once you’ve inquired through our contact page & our availability for your date is confirmed, we can immediately send you our brochure to help you pick a package that makes most sense for your day. We then send you a contract for your date & package to review & sign. We require a 20% retainer of the total to hold your date & BOOM, your date is officially booked! The remainder is due on the Wedding day.

What if we decide we want more hours?

We have no problems adding hours to a wedding however, if we’ve booked back to back weddings on your weekend & there is travel involved, we’re unlikely to add hours. We’ll always talk over your timeline ideas when booking so we have an idea if added hours might come in to play.

Do you help us plan?

We LOVE being involved in your planning stages. After 10 years in the industry, we definitely have a pretty good idea of what to watch out for & what to take advantage of. First off, we send all our couples a questionnaire so they can let us know which types of frames they want the most in their day (ex. a picture of you & your dog or a champagne pop or certain setups in bridal party portraiture etc.) We have helpful tips on how long things can take, best lighting of day times, a time saving system for family formals & experience with many locations for photos.
We also scout our locations the day before the wedding to solidify the best lighting.

Do you shoot both of us getting ready?

Enter: The plus side of having 2 photographers! Dividing to conquer! After our morning coffee & maybe a silly insta story, we head out to our “getting ready” locations to cover both of your most important moments during this time so nothing is ever missed.

How soon can we see stock?

Typically we release 20-50 teasers highlighting the best parts of your day keeping in mind something that may be perfect for a “Thank you” card. We Share this online gallery with you within 2 weeks post the wedding. After that, your final FULL wedding gallery will be delivered to you within 2-6 months depending on how busy our wedding season is.

How many images do you include?

We always want to include plenty of images of everything we capture. We don’t believe in withholding any images from you to get you to pay more. These are your memories, we promise to capture them fully & give you more than enough images to remember this special day.
That said, we guarantee 400-600 on an 9 hour day
& 600-800 for 12 hours day.

Do you do Design your own Albums?

We DO!!! & WE LOVE IT! We have a background in Graphic Design & enjoy mindfully bringing the story to life in the pages of a beautiful quality Album. It’s a lay flat heirloom 10×10 album by QT Albums & their product will last for generations to come ready to be viewed by your children & THEIR children! IT’S GORGEOUS. (Understatement)

What if your Camera Breaks?

In the event a camera dies (Pause for anticipation)
NO SWEAT! TEAM FLOFOTO has a total of 4 cameras on all wedding days. We shoot with a myriad of lenses as well to get that very 360 atmosphere of your day & we have a Bajillion memory cards. After we’ve documented your day, we typically enjoy a glass of wine while our memory cards are being uploaded onto our hard drives & then again onto other hard drives to BACK IT UUUUP! (SO important)

Can we book an engagement session with our package?

Absolutely! In fact, if you book your e-session with us when booking any one of our wedding packages, you’ll get a $300 discount off our regular e-session price. (Not including elopement)

What if the weather’s bad?

Rain CAN be the worst, ..or it can be SO Vogue & sophisticated. Reflections in wet pavement & black umbrellas make for very beautiful stock! We do not shy away from the dapper damp but just in case of a total downpour, we keep our eye on the weather forecast & always plan backup covered locations for the big day.

How long do you shoot for?

Our 2 major packages are a 9hour & a 12hour. We can guide you based off your itinerary as to which package makes the most sense & get you all best highlight moments covered. For most weddings, we often show up 30min to an hour early just to get into the day & at the end of the day, we’ll usually stick around an extra 15min if there’s a memorable moment about to take place.

Can you shoot in dim reception lighting?

With a healthy amount of lighting equipment & experience with working in warm soft tones, we can troubleshoot any setup! For dance floor action in particular we often go with a very “party atmosphere” shutter drag that really amplifies the FUN!

Do you photoshop us?

We don’t alter the way you look. If you have any blemishes or anything temporary that would not normally be there, like bruises or acne etc we can remove them unless you want them in there. If you’re self conscious about something, just let us know & we’ll be sure to be extra aware of that while posing you.

What is the final product?

The final product is an online Pic-Time gallery showcasing all images in both Colour as well as Black & White. This gallery is EPIC!! You can download all your full res images straight from here & you can even design & print your own prints, thank you cards, albums etc. from the built in shop in the navigation. It is 100% an “ALL UNDER ONE ROOF” gallery! As mentioned above, this gallery is delivered 2-6 months from your wedding date depending on how busy our wedding season is.

Do you Travel for Weddings?

Absolutely! We love travelling to new places as well as places we’ve already been. We’re not just Toronto & Sudbury Wedding Photographers. We’re expert travellers, so please do take us with you wherever that may be!

Any Advice?

We want to hold your hand through the planning. We’ll start by sending out the questionnaire — this helps us gather a bunch of the info about yourselves & your day. After that we like to plan some calls so we can be sure to give you all the advice & tips to make sure that you are able to max out our services. Things like time required for portraits or best time for lighting etc are super important to the success of your day & we have all the experience to make sure we give you the guidance you need when creating your day plan.
