When Angela reached out to us to shoot her Fairytale Paris wedding, it wasn’t the first time we’d heard from her. In fact Angela had booked us for a 2017 wedding but as far as we knew her plans changed & we never got the chance to capture her day. So when she reached out again, we found out that she had been through quite the year & was finally getting a chance to plan her perfect day!

Angela’s story about why her day was postponed “could have rivalled any season finale of Grey’s anatomy” as Mary Keown wrote in an article for the Sudbury Star that perfectly sums up this epic story of family & love.

In short, her mother had suffered several strokes & with doctor’s warning the family to prepare for the worst, Angela & Mike decided to get married at the hospital, with her mother acting as Maid of honour, all to ensure her mother would have the chance to see her daughter wed.

Another quote from the Sudbury Star article says “It was the most special day of my life, but it was so bittersweet,” Madonna says. “I was so happy to be marrying the man that I love, but my heart was so filled with sorrow, because of all the uncertainty. It was a very emotional day, and a very quick wedding. … I basically just showed up to my own wedding. It all came together so magically. … It was quick, because I needed to get back to my mom.”

Cut to September 1st 2019 —

Angela & Mike…& Angela’s beautiful mother !! along with their friends & family gathered in Paris, ON at the Dominion Telegraph Event Centre to celebrate the couples love. This time, it was the full on fancy, fun, party with all the delicious food, wine, dancing & speeches!!

We can hands down say we cried multiple times/ more than any other wedding we’ve attended! Particularly the mother daughter dance… just such a beautiful bond between Angela & her mother… the whole day was overwhelmingly filled with love & we really felt it!

We were also blown away by the locations, the bridal party, the decor & food… truly such an awesome day all around!

We are beyond grateful to have had the chance to capture Angela & Mike’s Fairytale wedding in Paris & we wish them all the Love forever & ever.
