Royalton Riviera Cancun . Mexico Wedding . S+B
Well, here we are. Locked in our houses, months away from our last wedding held at the Royalton Riviera Cancun in beautiful Mexico.
I’d say the week of our return was the beginning of a new way of life. Truthfully, we’re so grateful to have missed the chaos & are so pained for the Brides & Grooms who’ve had their hearts broken having to cancel their big day. We know these couples have spent the better part of a year pouring their souls into this meaningful event to share with their closest family & friends & how difficult it must be to just watch it disappear.
Knowing what many were going through, editing found a way to take on a much stronger meaning. Looking closely at the laughs, the tears & the genuine joy captured that day in Mexico, it was difficult not to wonder when this heartfelt tradition might come to take place again in the world without worry. Despite this relentless thought, it was such a cathartic moment to relive the day these two shared with their closest loved ones & be able to dive into how relaxed everything was then.
The lovely couple shared their day with their beautiful little baby girl among other family & she really made such a cute flower girl. Their was such authentic comfort & love in the air. It was hard not to just laugh with them behind the lens all day. The next morning the bride & groom decided a swim in the ocean in their wedding clothes sounded like a good way to end their adventure. It was overcast but incredibly calm & was really just a beautiful moment in time.
We want to thank the lovely couple. We hope they experience love & happiness with their beautiful family for the rest of their days & find their way back into the morning ocean many more times before then.
